Port-A-Pour has designed the industry’s first truly
modular batch plant design. The
base plant can be added on to in order to meet the
demands of virtually any project.
The base plant come standard with two 15 cu. yd.
aggregate bins which precision weigh and deliver
aggregate material according to the exact ratio
specified in the mix design.
Additional
aggregate products can be handled in two ways:
1) The standard computer control system can easily
switch into “blending mode”. In this mode, the operator
can load two aggregate products into the bins, set the
precise blend ratio between the two products and create
a blended stockpile of aggregates for later use in
batching.
2) Port-A-Pour manufactures “Auxiliary Aggregate
trailers” with one, two, or four 15 cu. yd. bin feeders
mounted on a DOT spec trailer. This trailer is plugs in
to the base plant and the computer then can batch out of
up to 6 aggregate hoppers.
